Respected as a credible figure in decision making, finding, and starting new business models, partnerships and establishing governance and internal controls, Julian earns a seat at the table wherever he seats. Currently, as Chief Executive for OmnicomMediaGroup Latin America, the media, digital, data analytics and technology services division of publicly traded Omnicom (NYSE: OMC), one of the world’s marketing services leader, Julian oversees the operations of a $1B+ in revenue organization in 18 markets across the Latin American region and the Caribbean employing over 1,500 personnel. Under Julian’s tenure since 2010 with OmnicomMediaGroup, the Latin American region has seen revenue and profit grow consistently, while driving some of the world’s most iconic Brands through marketing communications transformation, embracing digital media technologies while leveraging data and analytics for business growth. He is now spearheading the deployment of Omnicom’s people-based, precision marketing platform, OMNI, across the Group’s media agencies, a capability that will provide a competitive advantage of a single end-to-end platform for marketing decisions. Experienced in M&A, P&L management and fiduciary responsibilities of a public company, Julian is an all rounded and proven international chief executive officer. Previously, as Senior Vice President, Regional Managing Director for Latin America at Publicis Groupe, Julian led the multinational client operations of the publicly traded French marketing services company (NYSE: PUBY). Earlier, Julian rose through the ranks of global advertising agency Leo Burnett in his native Mexico, having worked and lived in Chicago, New York City and Santiago, Chile, throughout his 15-year career with that group prior to that company’s acquisition by Publicis Groupe. Julian holds a B.J. from The University of Texas at Austin. He has served in several charitable boards including the Ronald McDonald Charity Homes, Unidos Somos Mas, among others. Julian lives with his wife Monica and their two teen-age children in Miami, Florida.
